WHAT IS ELECTRONIC MUSCLE STIMULATION (EMS)?

Electrostimulation is a technological innovation designed to treat muscles by exercising them passively with electronic impulses, that is, involuntary contracting the muscle.

 

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Electrostimulation, specifically the kind used at The Body, is very simple.
Our EMS stimulator has 10 channels that adjust to the intensity needed for different muscle groups, making it possible to customise training to clients’ objectives.
During training we can also modify the frequency of the electrical stimuli, measured in Hz (cycles per second), that the device emits. Different objectives are achieved by customising this frequency along with stimulation and rest times and exercises.
